1. Apply light pastel coloured eyeshadow on the eyelids.
2. Apply medium-toned eyeshadow in the creases.
3. To give your eyes more prominence, apply highlighting shade under the brows

First of all apply foundation to prepare your eyes for eyeshadow application. It not only makes your eyeshadow look smoother but also prevents eyeshadow from creasing and makes it last longer on your eyes. Apply the base colour to the entire lid from the inner corner to the outer and from the lashes to the brow bone.

Once your eyeshadow base is on, you should select your colors. Normally you'll need three shades. Apply a light shade over your entire eye lid from lashes to brow line. It will open and brighten your eyes. Apply medium color to your eyelid crease to give slight depth to your eyes. Blend well. And finally, apply the darkest color to give the shape to the eyes.

Eyeshadow tips for deep-set eyes

If you have deep-set eyes, you should give them prominence applying light or medium eyeshadow from the inner corner of your eye to the outer one. 1. Apply light shade from the inner corner to the middle of lid from lashes to browline.

2. Apply a little highlighter in the inner corner of the eye.

3. Extend the medium-toned eyeshadow to the outer corner of your eye from lashes to browbone.

4. Use the most intensive color of eyeshadow in the outer corner.

5. Brush a little highlighter on the browbone

6. Use eyeliner to line upper and lower lids keeping color most intense in the outer corners of the eyes.

7. Apply mascara on the top and bottom lashes with some extra coats on the outer corners.

8. Extend the length of brows out at the ends with a brow pencil.

Eyeshadow tips for wide-set eyes

If you have wide-set eyes, you should emphasize the inner corners by using darker eyeshadow on the inner corners and lighter eyeshadow on the outer halves.

1. Reduce the space between the eyes by applying dark eyeshadow in the inner corner.
2. Apply the lighter eyeshadow to the outer two-thirds of the lid from lashes to brow bone.
3. Use eyeliner to draw a very thin line from inner to outer corners on both upper and lower lids.
4. Pencil eyebrows a little closer to the nose. Don't extend eyebrows out at the ends.
